1963 Vyatka 150 scooter, the Russian Vespa.		SOLD!

This scooter was found at customs storage after sleeping a long 40 years nap since the days someone unsuccessfully tried to import it to our country. It was never claimed, and was finally sold in public auction were we purchased it.

It was amazingly well conserved as it had never rolled. It even kept the original tires that still keep the typical rubber edgings seen on new tires. The paint was a little burned and a few rust spots were present due to the very prolonged storage in a closed humid environment. The engine was a little dry due to inactivity.

After redoing chromes and paint job, engine cleaning and tuning, and other general conditioning, we ended with a 100% original, NOS (never used), Vyatka scooter.

An emblem of the Soviet Union, which copied the Piaggio Vespa designs without even asking permission, because they did not recognize the copyright laws of the western world! Indeed a very special scooter because of its history and its unprecedented museum like condition.
