This motorcycle is one of the two R5 one of our partners found at an isolated farm upcountry. They had been sleeping for more than twenty years under a canvas when they were discovered.
 
Fully restored by the best BMW specialists in our country, special care was taken to maintain its originality throughout. Most of its elements are absolutely original from the factory, since the spare parts used for its restoration were “new old stock” parts remaining in Uruguay, while some others were imported from Germany. Both original carburetors were replaced by two Bing carburetors. Every detail was taken under consideration to achieve a restoration of unprecedented quality. Indeed, this is a fine example of the rare and beautiful BMW R5 motorcycle.
