This is a very rare exemplar of a 1951 Vespa 125 scooter. After a short period of use, this scooter remained disassembled and stored for the last decades awaiting for restoration and reassembly.
It is in museum-like condition after a comprehensive restoration work that covered every detail from body to mechanics and the electrical system.
It was painted in the original color which was formulated using the PPG-Max Meyer paint codes cross tables and then verified against the original paint color present at original Piaggio new old stock (NOS) spare parts our company keeps in perfect conservational state. We can therefore assure that it has the very same color it had when it left the Piaggio factory of Pontevedera, Italy, in 1951.
Almost all the original parts of the scooter survived its long "nap" and for most of the parts replaced, original Piaggio parts from our stock of never used (NOS) vintage spare parts were used, thus making this scooter 98-99% original.
